Pets are accepted for pet sitting or dog walking only under the following circumstances....
The pet is fit and healthy, care which takes place on an elderly or infirm pet will be at the owner's risk.
The pet's rabies vaccine is up to date (as required by law) unless otherwise discussed.
In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorize Tail End Retreat LLC to contact the nearest Veterinarian and authorize the Vet to treat the pet as necessary at your expense.
Payment is to be made at the time of service. Payment can be cash, check or credit card. Returned checks will incur a $35 charge. Our rates are based on the breed of the pet and duration of the visit.
Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment, by the client, requires 48 hours notice to waive the $100 fee.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a visit if we feel the need to do so. Every effort will be made to reschedule at a time convenient for both the client and the pet sitter.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet or client for any reason.
By signing this agreement, you are agreeing to the following:
You understand that you are solely responsible for any harm caused by your dog(s) and/or cat(s) while your dog(s) and/or cat(s) are attending walks, pet sitting or any activities with Tail End Retreat.
You also understand and agree that in releasing your dog(s) and/or cat(s) in Tail End Retreat’s care, Tail End Retreat has relied upon your representation that your dog(s) and/or cat(s) is/are in good health and have not harmed or shown aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dog.
You further understand that due to the way that dogs interact with one another, minor cuts and scratches can occur even though the dogs are carefully supervised at all times.
While your dog(s) and/or cat(s) is/are in the care and custody of Tail End, if you are unreachable in the event of an emergency, you hereby authorize Tail End Retreat, its agents, and/or representatives to seek immediate veterinary care for your dog/cat. You understand that all costs in connection with veterinary, medical or other treatment shall be your responsibility.
You hereby release and agree to save and hold harmless, Tail End Retreat, it’s directors, officers, shareholders, employees, assistants, members and agents from any and all liability, claims, suits, actions, loss, injury or damage of any nature or kind, of for any liability, claims, suits, actions, loss, injury or damage which you or your dog(s) and/or cat(s) may sustain or which may be caused in any way by your dog(s) and/or cat(s). You specifically, without limitation, agree to fully indemnify Tail End Retreat for any and all such liability, claims, suits, action losses , injury or damage.
You certify that you have read and understand the rules and regulations set forth herein and that you have read and understand this agreement. You agree to abide by the rules and regulations and accept all the terms, conditions and statements of this agreement and confirm the truthfulness of the contents of the Application form completed by you.
Although we carefully screen all applications, occasionally we discover that this is not an appropriate service for every animal. Tail End Retreat reserves the right to permanently remove an animal from our services at any time.
